Aspen/Snowmass Ski & Snowboard Open (February 11-14, 2010)
The Aspen/Snowmass Open has become one of the hottest competitions around. Held at Buttermilk, it offers the unique opportunity for riders to throw down on the famous Winter X Games course.In its fifth year, the Open is expected to draw 350 men and women skiers and snowboarders to compete in two disciplines - Slopestyle and Superpipe - for a chance at prize money and glory on the hallowed Buttermilk venues.

Bud Light Big Air Fridays (February 12- April 2, 2010)
The always entertaining Friday afternoon show is entering its eighth year at Snowmass. Big Air Fridays attracts competitors from near and far (including the occasional vacationer) to show off what they've been practicing all week. The 40ft jump is showcasing the freshest tricks around! This event attracts hundreds of viewers who enjoy the high flying entertainment and plentiful crowd giveaways! Following the competition, you can enjoy live music in Snowmass Base Village while sipping on your après drink of choice to bring in the weekend!

Owl Creek Chase (February 12-14, 2010)
How do you stack up against the best in Nordic skiing? The Owl Creek Chase is a 21K freestyle cross-country ski race from the Snowmass XC Center to Aspen XC Center. This unique event combines an elite level pro Nordic race with the casual feel of one of the Roaring Fork Valley's favorite citizen events. Participants can choose to compete in either the Elite Division or Citizen Division. The Owl Creek Chase is a USSA sanctioned race and part of the Super Tour NorAm series and the North American Cup Marathon Series. Please join us for this one of a kind event in Aspen and experience Olympic level skiing.
