From Denver International Airport (DEN)

Aspen is approximately 220 miles (or 4 hours) from Denver International Airport. DIA serves as a nonstop destination for numerous national and international flights. Car rentals, taxis and shuttle services are available at the airport. Our concierge would be happy to assist with transportation needs.

If you are driving, take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs, then take Highway 82 East to Aspen. Or, for a more scenic route, take I-70 West to Highway 91 South (through Leadville) to Highway 24 South. From Highway 24, go west on Highway 82 and over Independence Pass (open only during the warm weather months) into Aspen.

Aspen Airport (ASE)

The Aspen Airport, Sardy Field, is a short 10-minute drive from downtown Aspen. The airport offers a full schedule of flights year-round, operated by several major airlines and private aviation companies. Direct flights are available from major cities such as Los Angeles, Phoenix and Denver. (The flight from Denver to Aspen is a 30-minute trip featuring breathtaking Rocky Mountain views.)

The Hotel Jerome provides complimentary transportation from the Aspen Airport. When you arrive at the airport, simply contact us via our direct line (located on the phone board in the baggage claim area) and we will send a driver to meet you. Alternatively, if you would like to take a taxi, you can catch one just outside baggage claim or phone High Mountain Taxi at 970-925-8294.

From Vail/Eagle County Airport (EGE)

Aspen is only 80 miles (or 1¼ hours) from Vail/Eagle County Airport. If you are driving, take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs, then take Highway 82 East to Aspen. Vail/Eagle County Airport provides air service from virtually every U.S. city. Airlines serving Vail/Eagle County Airport with non-stop flights include American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways. Car rentals, taxis and shuttle services are available at the airport.

From Grand Junction

Aspen is an easy 2½ hours from Grand Junction. If you are driving, take I-70 East to Glenwood Springs, then take Highway 82 East to Aspen.

Colorado Mountain Express (CME)

Getting to and from Denver International Airport, Vail/Eagle County Airport and Grand Junction is easy with Colorado Mountain Express, which offers door-to-door service to and from the Hotel Jerome.
