For the ceremony consider the Maroon Bells amphitheater, surrounded by pristine National Forest lands, and the most photographed peaks in all of North America. Valleys in the Maroon Bells offer an exhilarating mix of aspen groves, flower-speckled meadows, and dark forests of spruce and fir. Above timberline, scraggly krummholz are the only reminder of the lush lower forests, but bountiful displays of alpine wildflowers dazzle visitors in their stead . Nothing but superlatives roll off the toung when contemplating the Maroon Bells: the beautiful symmetry of the Bells, trails leading over nine passes above 12,000 feet in elevation, the delectable hot springs of Conundrum Creek, and shimmering alpine lakes nestled at the feet of jagged peaks, six of which crest over 14,000 feet.

Green Weddings

Couples can celebrate their special day with an “Environmentally Engaged” wedding.  A RockResorts event planner will work with the bride and groom to incorporate more personal sustainability practices into their special occasion that go far beyond simply recycling the cans from the "Just Married" sign.

Custom touches that are as unique as the bride and groom can put a touch of green in every aspect of the wedding.  Features include organic, natural and regional cuisine and beverages, sustainable décor and carbon friendly transportation options.
